In nursery we have reduced, reused and recycled for many years. We encourage children to use 1 scoosh of soap when washing their hands and 1 paper towel when drying them and we help children to understand why it is important to use both sides of paper for drawing. We would now like to reduce the number of clothes which are going into landfill sites so that we can help reduce greenhouse gases, the spread of diseases and damage to our natural landscape which will help to protect wildlife
On Wednesday 2nd February we will leave some pre-loved clothes on tables outside of nursery (under cover if wet) and you are invited to look through and take away any that are suitable. To ensure we are Covid safe, all clothes have been isolated for more than 72 hours
