Medium Term Plan 4
MEDIUM TERM PLAN 4 2021/2022
MUSIC/DANCE/DRAMA
Music, drama and dance help the body and mind to work together. Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words and dancing to music helps them to build motor skills and self-expression. Music helps strengthen memory skills as it activates both the left and right brain at the same time and the activation of both hemispheres can maximize learning and improve memory. Making music, dancing and drama encourages children to participate in group activities, express their emotions and develop their social skills. It can enhance understanding of different cultures, refine listening skills, create awareness of movement and body positions and develop creativity and imagination
